Therapy in Illinois & website support for group practices
I'm Amy Brown, a therapist in an internship at Mosaic Nature Therapy and a former SaaS product manager who still tinkers with tech to help people find the care they need. I also write about care, clarity, and building lives that fit.
How I Can Help
Therapy in Illinois
I’m currently a therapist in an internship at Mosaic Nature Therapy & Wellness, offering virtual and in-person therapy for clients in Illinois under clinical supervision.
Website Support for Therapists
I help therapists, group practices, and mission-driven organizations clarify their websites, improve their messaging, and make it easier for the right people to understand what they offer.
Clarity is a form of care.
I help people discover who they are and make it more possible to boldly pursue it.
Writing on Mental Health, Motherhood, Systems, and Technology
A Bit About MeBefore entering the counseling field, I spent nearly a decade in SaaS product management, writing, communications, and human-centered technology.
That background still shapes how I work: I notice patterns, ask a lot of questions, and care deeply about whether systems actually work for the people using them.
Now, as a therapist in practicum, writer, and digital strategist for helping professionals, I’m bringing those threads together.

I was going to title this “what I’ve learned as an amateur therapist,” but I suspect my professors, supervisor, and the State of Illinois would all prefer “clinical intern.” There are many rules in this field, and I’m doing my best to follow them.
That is part of why it’s been a while since I’ve written on here. The other part is because I also feel I’ve lost my voice a bit lately.
